Inspired by the Shogun series and book, I decided to do a 3D character realism/likeness study for personal/non-commercial practice purposes. Although I thought the face would be the most difficult part of the project, the cloth simulations turned out to be more challenging.
zBrush: High poly sculpts of the head/face, body. Blender: Retopology, geometry nodes for the beard and hair (except eyelashes > individual meshes), UV-unwrap with UV-tiles workflow, rigging, animations, rendering. Substance 3D Painter and Photoshop: All textures (except iris > texturing.xyz).
